We were both born and raised in the Midwest where we met and married in 1975. Then we moved to Colorado, bought a little home in the country, and didn’t think there was a better place to raise the three children who were all born there. Chuck had read Jack London’s books about Alaska when he was younger, so when his office decided to possibly move to Denver in 1985, he got the “call of the wild” and we moved to Alaska instead! Chuck accepted a job offer with the Air Force and Terri was a stay-at-home mom for our three adorable children: Jessi, Becca, and Bart. After the kids were in school, Terri earned her teaching certificate and taught for 20 years, while Chuck continued as the engineering flight chief at the local Air Force base. We came to Alaska for a three year commitment, but have stayed because, "We just haven't seen everything Alaska has to offer!"
Terri enjoys her crafting, flowers, cooking, and photography. Chuck hikes daily, fishes and hunts and has made a successful climb to the summit of Mt. McKinley!. Both like hiking, biking, and camping. We would very much enjoy sharing our Alaskan adventures! "Ever changing, ever new, come enjoy our Inlet view!"
